Thomas Kosten, President and Founder of TKHI, boasts more than 15 years of home maintenance experience.  For more than 12 years, Mr. Kosten worked in a variety of capacities for U.S. Inspect, Inc., playing a major role in growing the company to become America's largest national home inspection company.  As the Director of Training and Technical Services at U.S. Inspect, Mr. Kosten was responsible for the technical training and oversight of hundreds of home inspectors in the vast majority of the United States.  

Mr. Kosten has been a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), an EDI -certified third-party EIFS Inspector and Moisture Analyst, a state-licensed Pest Control Operator, and a former NEHA-certified Radon Measurement Technician.

Mr. Kosten received a BA in political science and economics in 1988 from Christendom College.

Currently living in a self-constructed home in Warrenton, Virginia, Mr. Kosten is a proud father of eight children -- Kate, Claire, Thomas, Joseph, James, Colette, Colleen and Gregory all thanks to his lovely wife Sue.
